ProsDurable, Great Value, Comfortable, Performing as Expected
I am 65 years old and my feet get cold. I have a pair of Sorros which are very warm, but they are clunky to wear when there is no snow. I live in Minnesota. These boots are very warm and look great! I am very happy with them.
I just moved to wyoming, where the temperature regularly hovers around zero, and my feet were freezing in my old winter boots. My first day wearing these bean boots I went snow-shoeing for 4 hours, and my feet stayed roasty toasty for at least 3 1/2 of those hours, it was only at the end that my toes started to go numb. I do recommend ordering a half size or size down. I am am a 7 1/2 -8 and the size 7 fits me perfect. I love to convenience of the zipper and the fleece is outstanding quality (I just hope it doesn't pack down too much). These boots do need a couple days to break in if you are planning on using them for hiking or snow-shoeing (the seam area gave me a blister on the back on my ankle on my first day, but I've been fine ever since). These were a splurge for me, but I am definitely glad I invested in them :)
Bought these boots just before all the cold weather and snow in January. Absolutely wonderful boots for the cold and snowy weather. They keep you warm and dry.
I just got these and we received our first snow & cold and they preformed perfectly. I have a wide calf and they fit very well--I was even able to tuck my jeans in them. Great boots--they make me look forward to winter's worst weather!
