Bought this in Cream - loved it! It's comfortable, attractive and looks modern. Received quite a few compliments when I wore it too. Ordered another in the Morning Rose color - it's even paler than it looks. I may return (very close to the cream color) but I already reordered another in the Chocolate Brown. btw - I'm 5'6" and 118 lbs. The small fit perfectly. I always find it helpful when reviewers put their general ht & wt; otherwise saying something fits or not doesn't mean much!
I've purchased L.L. Bean tee shirts for years, and this one demonstrates L.L. Bean's commitment to quality and continuous improvement. Very flattering fit and color (I chose pink), and the fabric is soft and cozy feeling. I especially appreciate the cuffs on the sleeves--perfect for pushing up my sleeves and having them stay put while I'm working in the garden.
The scoop neck and slightly ruffled neckline add interest and fun to this basic tee. Fits true to size and washes well. It's longer than I would have liked but hey, that's the fashion and it's cute.
The material is great, the overall shape is very nicely fitting without being too tight, but the shirring at the top around the neckline got all bunched up after washing, and I can't straighten it out. My guess is that it was sewn wrong, or pulled when sewing, so that it no longer lies flat. Very disappointed, since the top is a very flattering shape and length.
