ProsGreat Value, Comfortable, Performing as Expected, attractive jacket
I had been keeping my eye on these jackets for the last couple of years, but was waiting for new colors to be introduced. So needless to say I was excited to see the introduction of the Moss Khaki and the orange colors!!
First, I purchased this jacket for a warm, lightweight layer that I can pack when hiking, backpacking or snowshoeing. This jacket does not disappoint. It's super light, and plenty warm for winter use, epecially when taking a break or at camp. It can be worn as a sweater or a jacket to layer.
Second, I decided on the moss khaki color so that I can get more versatility out of it, and I'm glad I did (I already own an orange rain shell for visibility).
I've gotten more compliments on this jacket from family, friends and coworkers than I have any other jacket I own. The fact that it's a great price for a lightweight down jacket is an added bonus!
One suggestion I will say is that it is a little roomy around the midsection if you have an athletic build. I was torn between the Large and the medium, but purchased the Large so that I could layer a sweater or fleece underneath it if I so desired.
Overall, this is a sweet piece of outerwear that I expect to get many years of adventures out of!

My husband is very pleased with this jacket. It is light weight yet very warm. There has been a slight amount of down "leaking" through, but much less than other down jackets he or I have worn.
