Bought this about 2 weeks ago. Weather here in CO hasn't gotten very cold yet but from my experience so far, it won't be a problem. Wore the jacket in a moderately cold high wind and was perfectly protected - with a T-shirt underneath. As others have said, hard to believe anything this light can be so warm. Pockets well-placed and zippers are for once non-problematic. I mirror the comments calling for wrist Velcro closures. Aside from that, a 100% excellent product. Buy the Ragg Wool hat to go with it and you're set.

It's uncanny how warm this is, and literally so light that you would swear you're wearing only a t shirt. To quote previous reviewers: "This jacket defies the laws of physics," and "This jacket is eerily warm." Incredibly comfortable. Vermont.
haven't used this too much since I've gotten it, but it has been very warm. fit kind of large though--ended up trading in for a smaller size. But LLBean is very easy to work with in the return/exchange process
I expected a jacket type parka, but instead it was like a lining that zips inside a coat or jacket. Is this the full jacket/ Price if too high for just a liner type jacket,.
