ProsGreat Value, Comfortable, Performing as Expected
My husband and I bought this jacket because of its light weight and looks. We wore it last winter. It is warm even without an extra layer and with one it is fine even on the coldest days. (We live in MA) This September we used it in the Canadian Rockies. It is great for stuffing in your pack when hiking.
I was a little hesitant ordering this jacket as the 650 is considerably less expensive, but I'm glad I did. This jacket provides the comfort and warmth of down without the bulkiness usually associated. I'll be using this jacket for skiing, snow shoeing and hiking. Couldn't be happier with the weight and scruchability
ProsDurable, Great Value, Comfortable, Performing as Expected
When I first previewed this jacket I couldn't believe what I was getting for the price. This jacket is very comparable to similar jackets that cost much more. Had mine for a year now, it hasn't disappointed. It's warm, comfortable, & light as a feather. Only drawback - it has no stretch, so I bought a size larger because I pull it out of my day pack for quick warm up over layers when stopping to rest while hiking in cold weather (packs down really small), or at base camp. Works great. I'll buy another (correct size) to use more as a down sweater in extreme cold.
My husband loved this jacket. He likes simple and comfortable clothes and this was perfect for him because he said it's so light but so warm. He said it feels like he's wearing a fleece almost. I wish I paid for sale price but it was worth buying since my husband loves it.
