Nearly perfect for my purpose. Although not warm enough for -20, it is plenty warm for zero or so. Very light. Very useful pockets. Fits very well for me (170 lb, 5'8'' = large). Only complaint: it seems some small feathers 'pop out'. So far not a major problem. It would be great if same jacket could come with a hood (LL Bean, are you listening?) Overall a definite winner.
I bought this jacket for my son, who travels between Southern California and Washington DC on a regular basis. He loves this jacket. It keeps him warm in DC and packs beautifully for return trips.
