I bought this for my husband in orange and he immediately loved it. He gave it the true test over our Thanksgiving holiday in Island Park, ID and West Yellowstone, MT, where we had the nation's coldest temperatures one day: -17 and -15. Though we didn't go outside until the still-chilly daytime, he was really impressed at its warmth.

It seems as though most of the reviews are state, "I love it", or "it is ugly", with very little practical info - this translates to a completely worthless review.
With that said, I am 6'0 to 6'1 and weigh between 165-170 lbs. My chest measures between 40-42 inches with a 15 -16 in. neck. I ordered a Large Reg, and it swallowed me (while wearing a button up polo style long-sleeve shirt underneath). I actually do "love" the jacket (warmth, weight, torso and arm length) but I will return for a MED Reg
In conclusion, if you (or your spouse) are roughly 6ft. tall, athletic build about 170 lbs, 40-42 in. chest, and desire a more ATHLETIC, controlled fit - go with the Med Reg.
I'm an athletic 6' 190#. I purchased a Tall Large size. Shoulders and sleeve length are great but the torso is cut for people with a lot more girth. It would be perfect if I had an extra 50+ pounds on my frame. Everything else about the jacket is great, but will return it because the fit is so poor for my build.
