ProsGreat Value, Comfortable, Performing as Expected
This is a super lighweight jacket perfect for layering and stowing away when not in use. I use this in my apartment - no heat, tile floors and concrete walls. I also layer it under the Ascent Gore-tex Proshell jacket (another great jacket). The one complaint I have is that the wrist cuffs (though elastic) are not quite tight enough. They could have been adjustable,or tighter, but they are not.... That being said in every other way - perfect!

This is the greatest jacket!!! Light weight, yet very warm. Has many pockets and zippers. Excellent for traveling. Doesn't take up much room, Very comfy and cozy.

What a delightful warm ultralight winter jacket! The best jacket I could find two years ago weighed me down at 3 1/2 pounds. When this one arrived in the mail I thought the package was empty it was so light. Less than one pound. Very nicely made with a heavy-duty zipper that will snug up the collar, and draw strings to tighten the waist, it will see me through those cold winter days ahead. And it is as soft as a handkerchief. Hats off to LL Bean for this one. Delivery was ultraquick too. It arrived the next business day after I ordered it.

I bought this for something that could easily pack into my backpack but also be very warm at the same time. I'm 6' tall and about 240 pounds of tight, former jock meat. I first tried the XL Tall but the body was too large. Next I tried the L Tall and it fit just right and even the sleeves are still plenty long which is often not the case for me in L Tall. Warmth is very nice but I haven't really had any really cold days to test it. Hopefully the lightweight doesn't mean weak and prone to ripping, but so far so good and I guess it's guaranteed if it does fall apart. I also have a packable LLBean rain jacket with hood that makes the combo like a wind/rainproof packable, portable, parka.
I really like LLBeans free returns (if you have their CC) which makes trying things on cost-free.
