Husband says: Very comfortable and much roomier in the arms than other Bean jackets I have tried on or purchased in recent years. Nice and warm as well as very light. Works well as a winter coat but tough to fit under my shell from Beans that is the same size.
As a matter of fact I am returning it. Just received it last week and went on a three day fishing trip. Temps were in the 30’s dropping to the 20’s in the morning. I did not find that it was all that warm, not for a jacket. Once it got down to freezing could actually feel the chill of the air, cuffs were also to loose. Maybe as a down sweater but not a jacket and the temperature rating by my standards was grossly overstated. Purchased this on sale and my bottom line is not worth a $100.00.
At first glance, this jacket was just what I needed, an ultra-light option for cool/cold weather. However, when I tried it on, the sleeves simply fell over my hands with no way to tighten the cuffs. Even though the specs indicate "elastic at the cuffs to keep out cold drafts" my jacket's cuffs simply would not stay above my hands, tight around my wrists, and they were definitely not going to keep out the cold. And I don't have small hands. Shorter arms than the jacket was designed for, possibly, but regular sized hands. What a disappointment.
