I absolutely love this jacket. It is true to size and extremely light in weight. The interior is very well-constructed and the exterior fabric is also lovely. The fleeze in the hand-warmers is a wonderful touch, the kind of feature you find in far more expensitve jackets. The inside vertical mesh pocket is excellent for sticking my ID, keys, and phone when I go for walks.
This jacket would be 5 star if LLBean made the following additions to it: 1. 1 inch to the sleeves 2. adjustable cuffs 2. A parka length version. My tooshie could use the x-tra warmth, particularly when I am walking the dog in the mornings. 3. A hoodie. This is the only reason I sometimes pass this jacket up, especially on rainy days. I live in Washington State, near Seattle, so we get a lot of those.

I bought this at the end of last season due to needing something in the back country to have as an emergency jacket while cross-country skiing. I now don't just use it for skiing; I want to wear this jacket all the time! I have another jacket that has a seperate inner liner to remove as needed. It now feels too bulky against the Ultralight 850 Down Jacket. People compliment the beautiful blue color as well. The cut is very flattering due to showing a defined waistline...not boxy at all. Thanks L.L. Bean!!!
I bought this jacket last year - wore it non-stop. So many positives - light weight, packable, great blue color. The only con is the length at the back - an extra inch would be perfect - just enough to block the gap! I am 5'6' 115 - bought a small - could not have gone larger - it would have been too wide.

Jacket fits a need. Lightweight, warm, stylish. Could be a bit longer for more warmth and a hood would be even better in case of snow/light rain. Pleased with purchase.
