The coat is definately light weight- so soft and not bulky. Loved the bright color. Runs a little large but that was what I was looking for. It is extremely warm for such a thin jacket.
ProsDurable, Great Value, Comfortable, Performing as Expected
I love this jacket first because it comes in petite sizing. the jacket is roomy/true to size. i could go medium to large in jackets but the medium was plenty big. I love that the arms are not so narrow so there is room for sweaters underneath. this jacket is so thin and comfy yet very warm. i would wear it as a winter jacket, not just an underlayer,because i feel it is warm enough. my winters are spent in new england and canada so i know the cold! i hate the puffy feeling of most winter jackets and with this one you don't have that feel. i highly recommend it.

Supremely lightweight (its lighter than a denim jacket) and exceptionally warm even in 30mph + winds in the north east. I wanted to get it last year but it sold out, so I made sure to get it early this season. I bought the 200 performance fleece vest to wear with it in extreme cold, but I haven't had need for it as yet. I do have issue with the sleeves they are 1/2" too short for me even though the jacket fit me great (size M). However when wearing a long sleeve shirt or gloves its not really noticeable. Love the jacket too much to return because of the sleeves, but LL Bean should take note of this problem, AND should consider offering this awesome jacket in longer lengths as well.
