ProsGreat Value, Comfortable, Performing as Expected
I purchased this coat to use on winter backpacking trips. I've used this coat once so far for a trip on the Appalachian Trail in CT in mid-November. It packs up small, is very lightweight, and very warm. It is comfortable enough to sleep in! I purchased it in black, and I found that it's stylish enough to wear it as an everyday casual coat. I am very satisfied!
I love this jacket because it is soft and light weight and warm. I think if it is not raining too hard it is also a little bit water proof. I was a bit disappointed that there was not much of a color selection and it is kind of pricey.
This jacket is fantastic! It is light and airy, you barely feel it on you except for the warmth that it blankets you in - like a down quilt! I loved it so much that I had to purchase one for my mother!!! It is stylish - yet functional! Best product LL Bean has offered in years!!
