I'm an online shopper mostly. On my rare visit to a store, I walked by this jacket and touched it. I'm so glad I did because I may not have given it a second look online. I was amazed by its light weight, warmth, and incredibly soft feel--like "bud-ah." Plus it fits beautifully and doesn't make me look like the Michelin man like other down jackets have. A beautiful find!
This jacket is incredible soft, lightweight and warm. Exactly as described. However, the sleeves are a tad short. While they do reach my wrists, I like my jacket sleeves to be longer than my shirt sleeves, and these are not. I would love to see this jacket in a women's tall size. I considered exchanging for a men's, but I did't want to lose the tailoring in the waist that keeps you from looking like a marshmallow.
I bought the men's version of this jacket last year and it was fabulous. So this year I ordered the women's model for both my partner and my daughter. Both women's jackets seem to have much less down (relative to the size). The thickness of the garment is proportionately reduced and the shell feels flimsy and cheap rather than comfortable and light as the men's does. We are very disappointed.
