Rec'd this jacket a couple of weeks ago. I was surprised by how slim fitting and light weight it is. Still too warm in Colorado to know if it will do the trick. Am guessing it will be fine here in the foothills, but a little thin for higher altitudes this winter.
I purchased this jacket for the fill power and the lightweight qualities of it. When it arrived, I thought it would be too big-I am usually a size s/m 5-7. After trying it on and realizing that I would be layering for the most part in winter, I love it and the fit is perfect. I ordered the M and the arm length is slightly longer, which I like. The jacket instantly warms you up in a cool evening mountain wind and is super lightweight and packable. Very happy with all aspects of this jacket!
I tried this jacket on in the store in all 4 colors because I thought it was so beautiful, and so great for traveling. But when I looked in the mirror, it appeared to be covered with stains. Turns out there were dark brown feathers mixed in with the white down and they showed through the shell as spots and looked like dirt. I was so disappointed and hope that they will return these defective jackets to the manufacturer for replacements. I would buy two of them if they did....
Received this jacket this week and am in love. So soft, so lightweight, so attractive. Usually wear a Petite Medium, and the fit was true to size with room for a fleece if necessary.
