Loved this coat but had to return it and hope to get a replacement. It is very light weight but wrm but when I received it the coat looks like it has stains all over it.
This is the warmest, tailored down coat that I own and I own quite a few! It is not bulky at all which is my favorite feature. The color is not as neon bright as it looks on the internet, it is very beautiful. Definently worth the money!
I bought the Ultralight 850 Down Jacket for a winter trip to Philadelphia. I live in Southern California, so am not accustomed to below freezing temeratures. The jacket is warm, lightweight, and imminently packable. It was warm and conmfortable, and not bulky. I wore it inside, outside, under my winter coat, and as a bed jacket. Basically, I lived in it! FYI I have long arms, and the sleeves on the women's jacket were too short. I ordered the Men's and it fit well. Thank you!
I love this jacket! I originally bought it for skiing, and when it was delivered, it was so lightweight that I worried whether it would keep me warm enough. Not true - it did its job very well. But when I returned from my ski trip I didn't want to pack it away! Given our unseasonably cold winter here in the south, I have worn this jacket EVERYWHERE over the last few months. It is so lightweight and comfortable that I barely notice it is on. It breathes, so I can easily keep it on when I run into a heated place. And the best part is that I get compliments every time I wear it! I'm so glad that I bought it - I will miss it when the weather warms up!
