If you are looking for warmth get a different jacket! It is great for a light jacket but not for warmth! Small feathers come out constantly . For the price you pay I was socked by the qaulity for being L.L.Bean!
I hate coats. I've always hated coats. However, I seem to be more vulnerable to the cold these days. This jacket--at one pound--is perfect for me. It isn't bulky. It's warm and the styling is very nice. Unlike some down jackets, you don't look like a cheap imitation of the Pillsbury Dough Boy. I highly recommend.
