Finally, a down jacket without all the bulk and padding. This jacket is so comfortable and soft. It is lightweight but still warm. I'm not a hiker or camper, so I really don't care that you can roll it up into a little pocket, but I LOVE the fact that it is light and easy to wear or carry. And you have full mobility to bend your arms. Some down jackets are so bulky you just don't want to wear them for everyday errands and such. This winter, I know I will reach for this jacket almost every time I go out the door. Also, it looks absolutely great on! Most down jackets are not very attractive ---down can make you look heavy and shapeless. This one looks as good as it feels.
I love this jacket. I was amazed at just how light it really is - yet it's every bit as warm (if not warmer) as my old L.L. Bean goose down jacket. The stitching details make for a figure-flattering appearance and the fleece lined pockets are a bonus for my hands. Great jacket at a great price!
