Prosdurable light practical, color choices are nice, great gift for travelers
Awesome jacket (in lemon)! Bought it on sale and I wear it everywhere. So light and compact. Good for cold days, but I wear a heavier LL Bean goose down for below 20 degrees. Family and friends loved mine so much I purchased Christmas gifts for my husband, dad, mom, sister, and friend -- I bought another in garnet red for myself!!
So light and so warm! I still wear a fleece or a windstopper layer underneath on super cold days. On warm days I've been known to sweat, which says something for someone who is always cold. So far I'm happy with my purchase, but there's always room for improvement. If it had these 3 things, I'd give it 5 stars:
1. Needs a removeable hood 2. Needs adjustable wrist cuffs- the wide cuffs let in air if you don't have gloves on. 3. Needs to be 1-2" longer- it can sometimes ride up.
I got this coat for layering while horseback riding outside in winter. It is VERY warm just as I had hoped.
Pros: Very warm, very lightweight, very comfortable.
Cons: 'boxy' loose body -- could be because I got a medium so the sleeves would be long enough (based on other reviews). I'm 5'7", 126 lbs. Also, I had to take a tuck in the cuffs because they were so wide.
