These pants have a strange cut, not the usual cut for women (unless this is the new normal). The waist is very loose relative to the hips. I don't normally encounter this problem because my waist isn't much smaller than my hips. Had to return these and did not order a smaller size because the hips fit fine; I'm afraid the hips would be too tight on a smaller size. The legs are also very wide on these pants.
