I tried this pair cause I needed a good fit in a Khaki color for work. I had originally bought them cause they came in the "Curvey" fit. Which I really liked . The rise was good, and the waist wasn't binding and tight. I bought a second, third, fourth even a fifth pair. Love these pants!!! I just wish they made the same style in a khaki denim. I bought a pair of khaki/tan denims and they are too high in the waist and binding. So if the makers of these pants are listening, PLEASE make them in a tan denim, same exact cut, and curvey would be nice but regulars fit too. And maybe a 32 length. Thank you!
These cords have several pluses going for them, the main one being they come in tall. That however is only helpful for a small population, but for me is huge ( no pun intended). The next selling point is they feel like jeans, but aren't. I'm a teacher so they are comfy, have give ( stretch) but aren't too casual. Just right for the classroom. I love the boot cut... That is preference though. Now the cons. the waist is lower.... Not show your undies low,,but lower.... So you need to wear a belt. Occasionally, I find the need to pull up my pants after squatting or being on the floor. More than once I have done so with my belt loop and they have ripped clean off! Once a student was hanging on me and ripped one off too. the loops need significant reinforcement and you the buyer should not pull up by the loops. Sounds weird, but that's the bummer of these otherwise awesome pants. Still ordering another pair ( my 5 th) and will try to follow my own advise!
I purchased these pants for a specific occasion - an interview for a job that will be very casual. They are an upgrade from jeans, which I wear every day, yet not too dressy since I need to look like I'm sensible enough to know that wearing dress pants is not part of the dress code for the job. The color (deep khaki) is nice, a sort of sandy color that will go with many tops. I'm curvy, so the waist is a bit loose on me in the size that fits well otherwise. The cut at the ankles is a bit wider than what I'd normally call boot cut, but they're fine. Balances out the hips. Overall, I'm pleased.
