Size 12 T was WAY too big all over so exchanged for a size 10 T which fit waist and hips ok. However width of legs was WAY too wide. I am not overweight so do not need such wide pant legs. The length of the legs was also longer than I expected even for a tall size. The only reason I wear a size 10 Tall is because I am 5'9" and most of the height is in my hips and I need the higher rise on tall pants for them to fit where they are supposed to. Can't go any smaller in size so have to buy cords from another company.
I don't have much luck with LLBean pants... These are great pants - I like the style and the material but they are just too short to wear with even low-heeled boots and the rise is on the low side. I hesitated but kept them because they are o.k. with flat shoes. I'm 5 ft 7 in. Too tall for Regular and too short for the Tall. The other styles available in Med/Tall just don't flatter my shape. They washed well and are comfortable. I'd say they are a very good value if you can find your fit.
Originally ordered my usual size, but had to return & instead go one size down and get petite rather than regular - but once that was sorted, the new pair fit perfectly & these are great! I may order more!
This is not a bootcut pant as advertised - it flares out quite dramatically from just below the knee to ankle. Not flatterining unless you're quite tall and I'm average-slightly above average. Wish LLBean had more accurately described the cut. Returning it - at my cost - from outside the US so $$$. Lovely navy color but leg cut is off. Do like the LLBean offerings that sit below waistline.
