I love these pants! I am 5'3" and have a small waist but I am curvy in the hips and rear so it's hard to find pants that fit comfortably. Usually they are too big in the waist and too tight in the seat but these are some of the most perfect pants I've ever worn for my body type. I went back and ordered another pair because I loved them so much.
My second pair of 5-pocket cords from LL Bean. The first pair was wearing thin after several years of wearing them and washing them, and wearing them very often, nearly every winter day. So I bought a new pair, and they are just as nice. Great fit, not to bulky, like cords can be. They wash well, and don't seem to shrink. I have to shorten every petite thing by about an inch,so I washed these several times thinking they might shrink, but they did not. I still have to take that inch off. They are so nice.
I always have trouble getting jeans that are slim enough through the hips and thigh but these fit beautifully. They are a nice compromise between skinny jeans and comfortably loose.
I liked the fabric and color (nice medium grey) of these pants, but the fit was not right on me. I ordered a 6 petite, which is my size in LLBean jeans. I am 5'3, 122 lbs. I have regular proportions but I do have a smallish waist. The length was perfect. Across the rear end/hip fit was good. However, there was a very big gap at the back of the waist. Fit would be better with someone with a straight thick torso. I liked the flare at the bottom, I thought it looked good. Legs were also very baggy at the back of the thigh, and I don't have skinny legs. Sending them back, unfortunately.
