I bought two pair of the Saturday Corduroy Jeans, Size 16: the Blue and the Rose with duck embroidery. The Rose fit great, but the Blue ones are way too large, even after washing them. The color is rich and vibrant, which is why I decided to keep them. Just know that the sizing is a little inconsistent on these.
I was so happy with the fit of the these pants, I would have purchased every color! Sadly, they sold out before I had the chance and then the cut was changed to a much baggier style. I keep checking to see if someone returned a pair, but no luck. Please bring back this cut! Thanks.
i liked the fit enough to go to the trouble of hemming them. i don't know why they are so long (even checked order history to make sure i hadn't ordered med/tall by mistake). i never have to hem any ll bean jeans normally. i love that they are not as high-waisted as some other styles. i could do without the stupid fade marks, and the material has some of that stretch jean look even though they are not stretch. all in all, a good pair of jeans.
The pants run small- had to return size 14 for a 16. Very comfortable and a fashion statement for the classic preppy in New England. I look forward to the fade when it starts to look more Nantucket Red over time.
