I usually wear a size 8 which translates to a 10 at LL Bean. My size 10 pants fit perfectly- not tight- just right! Love the chocolate color. I would like to order them in black but not available.
I bought these pants in 14 Petite; I'm 5'4", slightly curvy, and these were perfect in every way. I normally am a size 12 regular or 14 petite, and these in 14 petite fit like a glove. Perfect length and just right in fit. Slightly below the waist. I am short waisted and these fit great. Even my husband noticed (which he never does) Look great as an alternative to jeans and much more comfortable.
Or maybe I shouldn't recommend them and then no one will compete with me for the last pairs in clearance--alas, the pants in my size (10) are only left in funny colors anyway. I got these a week ago, and when I realized I had worn them every day since then and kind of hate to take them off long enough to wash them, thought maybe I should try to get another pair while I could. LLBean, please preserve these pants. I love them!
Trying to replace my old Bean favorites, I first tried my usual size 10 in this cut, but they were way too big. Next I tried the curvy fit (hey, I have some curves), but they fit like jodhpurs. Size 8 in the straight cut seems to be the best I can do, but I agree these are not boot cut. They bag at the knees in an unflattering way. OK, collectively we're all putting on weight, but somehow I doubt it's at the kneecap! Fabric and quality are still great; this is Bean, after all.
