These Saturday Straight Fit Jeans are terrific! The sizing is right on for us slim folks. The stying is flattering and up-to-date. I really wish LL Bean would offer this style in other fabrics too. Most of their pants are baggy on me, especially if they have any lycra in them, and I am really not that small. I take a 4 in these, but in most others, really need a size 2, which are not offered. I hope to see more of this slim type of pants offered from LL Bean in the future.
I just purchased the Saturday Corduroy Boot-Cut Straight Pants in the Soft Rose at the sale price. I always wear a size 4 Regular, but this partucular pair of pants ran so small through the waist and crotch. They felt like they were a size 2, or perhaps irregularly made. I own several pairs of The Saturday Corduroy Boot-Cut Straight Pants from the Fall 2010 catalogue and they fit very well. However, I noticed that the Soft Rose pair is not consistent with the sizing of this season's cords. It is a shame that I had to return them as the color was very attractive and popular this season. I do wish there was more consistentcy with Bean's sizing.
Finally, pants that fit my body-type and are comfortable. They are warm enough for cool fall weather and can be dressed up or down. I really like them, and wanted to order two more pair in other colors.The only problem is that when I went back to order more, I discovered that my size is sold out. Must be that others really like them, too.
I was looking for traditional jeans without the stretch. The fit is great but these are not boot cut. The leg goes straight down more like a trouser. Boot cut to me means a bit of narrowing at the knee area and then widening at the bottom.
