I really like these corduroys! This combination of the Favorite and Straight fits is perfect. Thank you, LL Bean, for acknowledging that women come in different sizes AND shapes. I'd like to see an even lower rise available. My only problem with these pants is that they are really baggy in the outer thighs/just below the hips... but that could just be the way I'm built.
I'm 5'2.5", 125 lbs.; I measure 31" around my waist (around my belly button) and 34" around my hips. I bought 2 pair in size 6 petite, Deep Red & Golden Cider. The fabric is LOVELY and has a little stretch to it, the colors are amazing, and the fit is loose without being super baggy. They are SUPER comfortable. I washed the pants (separately!) in hot water before I wore them, because they were a tiny bit long for me (just hit the ground), and I wanted them a little tighter. This really didn't help, though. They would be perfect if I could get them in a size 5.
I apparently have a funky body type (not curvy or hippy) and have a really hard time finding perfect-fitting pants . . . until these cords came along! I LOVE them! Getting ready to order several more pairs. They're so comfy and very flattering! The material feels solid, the bootcut is not too wide, the waist fits perfectly, and they don't hug my thighs.
I returned this product because the size was too big, the material was cheap in both look and feel and the boot cut looked more like a bell bottom than a boot cut.
Not like the usual high quality products that I have purchased from L.L. Bean.
