Love these jeans, ordered 4 pairs, liked so much I ordered more to stock up while I can still get them. I got the dark wash, they do have those funny fade lines on them, wish they didn't, but at least these are 100 percent cotton jeans that are getting so hard to find. I absolutely hate stretch jeans. I ordered my usual size. They were a little loose, but I like my jeans comfortable. I washed and dried on hot, not much shrinking. I'm 5'4" and find the average length is perfect for me.
I was looking for a bootcut cord with some stretch & these fit the bill. The Royal Plum was great for fall. I found the rise a bit higher than I expected, it was slightly below my waist. I ordered the Tall, a 34" inseam. I normally like a 33" inseam but the 32 would be too short. I will have to wear heels when I wear these cords. I would order them again.
Love these corduroys...but found the sizing tricky. I first ordered a size 12 in the curvy fit but there were too many curves in the thighs for me (looked a little like equestrian pants). Then I ordered a size 14 in the straight fit and they fit great. I usually wear a size 12 in most pants, so consider ordering up if you are curvy. The quality is great. I teach preschoolers so I needed pants that would stand up to playing on the floor but still look professional.
I ordered these in the denim, and I LOVE the heavier, non- stretch fabric that is so hard to find these days. A little higher rise than expected, which is good, but the fit in the hips is not right- it curves out too much at the top of the hips. Otherwise would love these jeans.
