I was really looking forward to the straight fit. Usually in Bean pants the waist is too tight in my normal size while the thighs and hips fit. I thought the new straight fit line would work for me. Not so. I am returning my cords. They fit the same as other Bean pants: way too tight in the waist. If I order up a size, they are too baggy in the thighs. They are a beautiful pair of pants, the construction is flawless, but the sizing just doesn't work for me. If you don't have the waist/hip problem I do, buy these cords. Otherwise, they are just like Bean's regular sizing.
Finally! Bootcut, 100% cotton jeans! They are so hard to find these days. Not everyone wants, needs, or likes stretch in their jeans, but it's becoming increasingly hard to find jeans without it. I love the Saturday Jeans and I hope LLBean will decide to offer them in a wider range of colors. I would love to buy a white pair.
The color I ordered was sea rose and I don't see that color on the choices here but I got them last year and I wear them now with my llbean sig. high platform sandles(I think on sale now) anyway the whole look is slimming and beautiful on me. I take a 6 in the corduroy pants. And it's good quality.
