Finally found low waist, non lycra/stretch jeans on llbean. Washed the dark color but when I wore them, realized the crotch had too much room going on and could not yank them up due to the low waist. Plus, the waist was too restricting. Returning them.
I am very happy with these jeans. They are comfortable from the first moment you put them on. It is so hard to find jeans that do not have lycra in them, so when I came across these I had to try them. People keep telling me I lost weight when I wear them. I can't wait to add more to my closet. Great product for the athletic build.
it's nice to find a pair of 100% cotton jeans at an affordable price. never realized how much i miss jeans with no spandex till wearing these. i normally find bean pants to fit a little large, so i ordered a size 14 whereas i'm usually a size 14-16 in pants generally and the fit is good. a little tight around the waist but not too tight. they are more of a straight leg jean than a boot cut so the legs are a bit baggy but still an overall flattering fit. very soft cotton.
I have been searching for jeans without lycra and that are flattering for an athletic build. These jeans fit the bill and more. They are comfy without being baggy, fit in the waist and the length is spot on. I'm 5'3" and the 4 petite is just the right length. And, they didn't shrink after the first wash. I'm defitinely going to buy more of them to replace the old jeans I have in my closet.
