I normally wear the Natural or Relaxed Fit jeans in a size 4 and the old style of Bayside Twills in a size 4. I bought a pair of the Curvy and a Pair of the Straight fit and they both were AWFUL! This is the first Bean product I have had trouble with the fit. The rise was a few inches long and they fit like the teenagers wear their jeans (with the backside business showing). Back they went. Bring back the OLD cuts of clothes, L.L. Bean! They worked--why did you change them?
These are a perfect fit and fantastic pair of pants!!! The cord is the narrow cord which I prefer...DO NOT miss out on these as they are great for the coming fall. Oh yes, I ordered the winter white...love them!!! Bring on the cool weather!!!
I love these pants. For a petite they fit perfect. When ordering from Bean I always check the size chart for each item to assure the correct fit. I will be ordering more.
Beware, the waste on these straight fit pants are quite smaller than the hip. They definitely are cut to a more curvy figure. I assumed because I did not order the curvy cut that the waste would not be so tapered but it was. The quality of the pants were excellent but the cut was all wrong for me.
