"Purchased this robe as a Valentine's gift for my husband, hoping it would live up to the hype. I might have preferred the next size smaller, but had to take what was available late in the season. He loves it! And he doesn't mind that it's a bit big. He wants to get one for me, but that will have to wait until next year when there will hopefully be smaller sizes available again."

"I have wanted a long robe with a hood for a long time. I purchased this robe in XL Tall so it would be long on me as I am 5'8". It fits great and it is super warm! It's more of a felt type cotton not like terry, so it doesn't get picks and hangs. I would recommend this robe to anyone who wants a warm comfortable snuggly robe. It's great to throw on after a shower when it's cool! Kudo's to the designer! Very comfortable! Highly Recommended!!!"

"Love this item ..I have one problem..it unraveled at every seem..its made in China, so its like wearing a fake Rolex watch..has the look and feel of an LL Bean product without any lasting quality. I had this item less than six months and its useless now."

"This is the best item I have ever purchased from LL Bean in over 20 years. The fabric and the sleeves are like regular rugby shirt material. It washes well with no shrinkage or wrinkling. It is warm and soft and I am not usually a robe-wearer, but I love wrapping this robe around me after a shower. I have never reviewed any item before, but I felt I had to tell you all how good this robe is..."

"I'm a pretty big guy (6'4") and ordered this robe last week, mostly based on other user reviews. Well, I just received it yesterday and have not taken it off since. It is BY FAR the most comfortable robe I've ever worn. I ordered an XXL Tall, and it definitely has more room that I need (which isn't a problem) and is as soft as your favorite college sweatshirt. My girlfriend put it on an hour ago, and is refusing to give it back! I think I need to buy another one now. A must buy."

"I am 6'1" and 230 lbs. This robe wraps completely around with a LOT of room to spare and hangs about 5" from the floor. The weight is perfect for chilly Texas winters, like a heavy sweat shirt. I like the draw string on the hood also. I wear 35/36 " sleeves in a shirt and these sleeves are perfect and unlike other robes don't have that funnel look. In short, its nice to see a product that is perfect designed and constructed. Please make this in other colors and make a woman's version for my wife. She wants one too!"

"First, I rarely write reviews unless an item just knocks me off my feet and this little robe does just that. It is so comfy that all I want to do is curl up on the couch!! I have been searching for a good year on the perfect comfy robe and when I saw this one, well..just knew it would be perfect. I'm a 5'8' 140 lb lady and I got the mens xl tall in navy. The length hits about 4" above my ankles and the pockets are not too low at all. It is soooo soft, medium weight and cozy. I turned the cuffs (about 3" wide) inward and it's the perfect length with no tightness on my wrists which I loathe. Yes, it's big on me but that's what I was looking for. I also got my son (13, 5'7") the gray in mens large tall (only because they only had talls left!) and both of them monogrammed. WE LOVE THEM! sorry this is long, but I can't say enough nice things about this item) Get more stuff like this for us ladies!!"

"Well, this robe is the answer to my prayers, which is pretty appropriate since I look like a Monk in it! I ordered an XL, Tall, Men's because they were out of small sizes. But, I love this big ole thing -- what a great all-round cover-up for house and cold mornings in the yard when I clean up after the dogs. The cuffs are really huge, so I just rolled them once -- that works. I took the belt out of the loops -- ties better, but I could just wear this robe as a wrap and be very happy. I got the grey color, so I hope nobody mistakes me for Fr. Groeschel with the hood - hahahahaha. LL Bean: please offer some of these great men's products in women's sizes. We're not all prissy little things, ya know. Some of us like buffalo shirts, river driver shirts -- and HUGE rugby robes. I love this robe, even though a big football line backer could be very happy with it. (I'm 5'5; average weight.)"

"I needed a new robe for the longest time. I can't express how perfect this robe is! I ordered the XXL (tall). I live in NY and this winter has been horrible, so I wanted something warm. The robe is warm, comfortable beyond imagination and I love the hood. I'm a big guy and it is a perfect fit. Did I mention how cool it looks? It's the best and I'm ordering another one in gray!!!"

"This is a great robe, well made, warm and comfortable. The only thing that lets it down is the design of the pockets. They hang on the inside and look stupid.
If they had kept with traditional patch pockets it would look much better."

"The tall robe is great for my son who is 6'5". He loves having the hood for those chilly nights in front of the computer. It washes great, too! My daughter loved it so much she now has one also. A female version would be nice though because it is a bit sloppy in the shoulders and slim in the hips for curvy women. It's like having a big, long sweat shirt you can put on any time of the day you're feeling chilly."

"Although this robe falls in the 'men's' department, I purchased it for myself for the comfort benefit and I wasn't disappointed! I typically am a size women's size 4-6 and my only choice directly after the holidays was a men's x-large; I didn't hesitate - it may be very, very roomy, but it's like wearing your boyfriend's sweatshirt and I'm extremely happy with the quailty. Please come out with a women's version. I especially love the hood!"

"This looked so comfortable that I bought two in the heather gray color. I'm 5'5 and I purchased the large in Tall and it fell right above my ankle. I bought a tall XL for my boyfriend and he's 5'10 so it should fit him just right. The robe is 79% cotton so when washed it should shrink just enough. I received it yesterday just in time for the abnormally cold weather in Houston...I didn't want to take it off. I'm thinking of buying one for my sister for her birthday. If your looking for warmth this is your robe..I just love it!!!!"

"I bought this robe as a Christmas gift and he loves it! It's roomy, soft, warm and washes well. I loved his robe so much, I bought one for myself. I ordered a Tall size and at 5' 7" the robe hits my ankles, turning a mid-calf-length robe into a floor-length robe.
