I bought this robe for my husband because I felt that he needed one. Although it was back ordered and then backordered again, LL Bean kept me updated on the status of the shipment. My husband was so happy to receive it and absolutely loves it. The problem is, I love it too and I think I wear it too much for him to get a chance to wear it. I will probably end up getting my own for christmas. I do have other robes, but this is by far the most comfortable and leaves my poor other heavy robes hanging.
I must admit that I was more than a bit frustrated when my backorder was extended. Yet I can tell you that it was definitely worth the wait. It is warm, fits well, and attractive as robes go. As a female, I was afraid it would be too long but it was a perfect fit It really does fit and fell like a great big sweatshirt.
You will not be disappointed if you purchase this robe. It is a very comfortable and soft robe that fits true to sizing. It is a good weight for most climates. Not too heavy, not too light..much like a medium weight sweatshirt. I am a 5'6" female who is height and weight proportional and the XS is a good fit. I could not wait for this robe to arrive in the mail and I love wearing it.
