Well, this robe is the answer to my prayers, which is pretty appropriate since I look like a Monk in it! I ordered an XL, Tall, Men's because they were out of small sizes. But, I love this big ole thing -- what a great all-round cover-up for house and cold mornings in the yard when I clean up after the dogs. The cuffs are really huge, so I just rolled them once -- that works. I took the belt out of the loops -- ties better, but I could just wear this robe as a wrap and be very happy. I got the grey color, so I hope nobody mistakes me for Fr. Groeschel with the hood - hahahahaha. LL Bean: please offer some of these great men's products in women's sizes. We're not all prissy little things, ya know. Some of us like buffalo shirts, river driver shirts -- and HUGE rugby robes. I love this robe, even though a big football line backer could be very happy with it. (I'm 5'5; average weight.)
I needed a new robe for the longest time. I can't express how perfect this robe is! I ordered the XXL (tall). I live in NY and this winter has been horrible, so I wanted something warm. The robe is warm, comfortable beyond imagination and I love the hood. I'm a big guy and it is a perfect fit. Did I mention how cool it looks? It's the best and I'm ordering another one in gray!!!
I bought this robe for myself and for my parents. We all love it! It's like wearing a sweatshirt blanket - so cozy and nice and light. It's great for men or women.
This is a great robe, well made, warm and comfortable. The only thing that lets it down is the design of the pockets. They hang on the inside and look stupid.
If they had kept with traditional patch pockets it would look much better.
