I bought my husband one, an XXL and myself and daughters XL each. My daughters are tiny but tall, size 4 and 8 and 5'10 and 6'1. So yes, it is big but it is fantastic! We wear them when there is a chill in the house with our clothing under it. I like them SOOOO much that I am ordering more and squirreling them away so when we wear them out I will have more. The fleece is like your favorite sweatshirt and it washes well. After a washing, the fleece is still like a new favorite sweatshirt. Cannot say enough good. I would like more color selections like a fire engine red and perhaps a dark hunter green as options. We have one navy and three grey. You will love it!!
I bought this for my son-in-law for X-mas and he loved it! He put it on Christmas morning and didn't take it off for hours. He said he felt like "Rocky" wearing it. I did take the advise of other reviews regarding the sizing. I bought a size smaller and was glad I did. This item does run large. The price was reasonable and the quality was very good.
My husband has never been a bathrobe guy. Since receiving the rugby robe, he now practically lives in it! The material is very comfortable, and the hood puts this robe over the top!
