I love this robe and basically live in it when I'm at home - we keep our thermostat low, so a robe is a must, especially on winter mornings. This robe is made of a nice moderate weight sweatshirt material, very soft inside, with a generous hood - throw it on when you get out of bed in the morning and you feel as cozy as you did when you were tucked in. I bought one for myself (6'2", 185#) and one for my boyfriend (6'4", 215#) and the Large Tall fits us both perfectly. Most robes tie midway down my ribcage - even men's robes - but this one ties at my waist. The arms are actually long enough (this is like a miracle to us tall folks) and the robe extends to mid-calf so you don't even have to wear sweats underneath it. I'm ordering these robes for all my family members this Christmas, monogrammed of course! A note to L.L. Bean: more colors, please!
