I ordered this for myself. I think it is the best robe I have ever had. I got the XS and it fits me perfect being a size 6/8. The sleeves were a little long, but after i washed it, they were just right. It is still a little long waisted for me (the pockets are kinda low). Would like for it to be a little longer. It hits just below my knee. Really like the sweatshirt feel and the cuffed sleeves. Most robes have big floppy sleeves that just get in the way. I will probably give away my other robes, as now wear this every morning and evening. I also think the weight it just right for warmth. I ordered the fleece lined one also, but am sending it back. The regular one is just right.
Looks and feels exactly like a very long comfortable sweatshirt. But the inside material also feels like the inside of a sweatshirt, so while comfortable, it does not absorb moisture or dry well like a Terrycloth robe. So the way I would use it, at an outdoor swim club getting in and out of the pool on chilly Nor Cal evenings, is not a good match. But fine for lounging around the house; or putting on after drying off well with a towel.
Medium Reg is the proper fit for me. I am male, 5'9" 140lbs. Hangs about 4 or 5 inches above ankle. Needs a chest pocket to be perfect but otherwise this is as good as a robe gets.
