I purchaced this item just before I went to New York with friends. Took it with me to a nice restaraunt and also went to see a play. When I got home the next day I realized I had lost both my license and a credit card. Very poor design as things fall out of it very easily. It is on it's way back.
I gave this passport organizer as a gift to my 15 yr old niece. It is exactly what she is looking for, loves all the storage and it seems quite durable.
I bought this hoping to use it as an under-shirt passport holder/wallet during a trip this summer. I should have checked the dimensions first but it is entirely too large- waaay too large- to go under a shirt discretely while traveling. And who would want to put their passport on a belt pouch secured by velcro. This is not for the traveler who has to put anything of value in it which they are concerned about losing. It would be great as a document organizer as long as you kept it secured inside another piece of luggage of some kind
I just returned from an 11-day trip to Sicily where I used this organizer for the entire time. It served my needs not only at the airport holding passport, boarding passes, etc. but throughout the trip for phone card, euros, credit cards and such. There were two reasons I did not give it 5 stars but rated it 4 stars instead: I found the latch to open the organizer a little difficult to manage and it required two hands. I guess this would make it more difficult for potential thieves as well so not entirely a bad thing. As I used it more and more, I did find it easier to open or else I was getting used to it but it still required two hands. The only small issue I had with it was the outside pocket. I used it to store euro coins and the coins got stuck in the top part of the pocket where they lodged rather than in the main compartment. At first I doubted that I had put them in there but when it happened a second time I fished around and found them. Maybe that was not the best place for the coins but there was no other small zippered compartment to house them. All in all, though, I am pleased with this product and would recommend it for a safe trip.
