These tights are really cute but don't stay up well. My daughter is very slender and a 3T is the right size for her but these fall down all the time and drive her crazy. So, maybe if your child still is in diapers or has more meat to them, they'd be great. They are nice and thick but I felt like the sharp colors dulled with washing.
I was really excited to find these cotton tights for my 7month old. She is avg weight, but a long and lean girl. It's always hard to judge size online, but of course I went against my gut and ordered her size by age, getting the 6-12 mo size. They are way too long in the leg and a little loose in the belly. I may have done better with the smaller size. I will have to return the two I bought and may or may not get the next smaller size. Shopping around first. They may not be the right proportions for her. Feet seemed big too.
I bought these tights in lavender stripe to match the llbean laventer stripe dress for my 3 year old niece! they fit great and are well made to withstand an active toddler! love the whole outfit!
