I am enjoying this sweater. It has that rare combination of being both warm and light weight. The fit is perfect and I find myself wearing it more that all the other sweaters I own. The styling and pattern has drawn compliments from family and friends.
I am happy to see this product is out there. I still have my sweater which was made in Norway for LL Bean. It's about 20 years old now, and going strong. It's not a slim fitting sweater, it's more of a outdoor pullover. Unlike other sweaters I have, this one wears well, and has never snagged or pulled. I've worn many backpacks with it, and now messenger bags - still no wear. Great product!
The fit is weird, no way around it. I happily own the Irish Fisherman's sweater, and that fits great; not tight, not bulky, not weird. Yet this item, which I thought would be comparable, bulged at the bottom around the waist. While it is stylish, quality, and warm, each of these positive traits are out weighed by the fit, which is a big negative.
Love the sweater, but have to agree with others that the sizing is unusual. I'm 6'4"/42L/35" waist, and I found that a medium fits pretty well. A bit baggy in the torso and short in the arms, but nothing that renders the sweater unwearable. I first ordered a large, but it was huge in the torso, so I exchanged for a medium.
