The fit of this sweater is just not good. I definitely check out as a Medium on Bean, and the sweater is large on me and oddly fitted. The shoulders are loose, and the sides balloon out only to come back in at the waist. Maybe size down if you're interested, but it's just a bad fit. For a premium price, I'd expect it to be better.
i am returning this because the wool is rather rough given the price. i compared this with another Bean wool sweater i bought at about a third of the price and the quality in terms of softness, thickness, and detailing is not one bit better. it's simply too expensive for what you get no matter where it was fabricated.
