My husband has enjoyed wearing it the few times he has needed it. We are in the South so he has it when it is cold enough. It is very warm and can't be worn on just moderately cold days. Great for those freezing days.
ProsDurable, Great Value, Comfortable, and soooo toasty
The hat I wanted in women's wasn't available so I got this from the men's department. It fits great, is super warm and looks pretty cute in a funky sort of way. The hickory color is more reddish than the color swatch on the site (that's why I knocked off a star), but when you're out in a blizzard, shoveling snow and you don't have to deal with the blinder effect of a hood and your head is toasty warm - who cares!
Purchased this to give as a gift and it was well received! True to size and perfect for blocking wind and cold while shoveling snow and all other outdoor winter activities. The brown leather is soft and is a classic style. Perfect gift for a guy!

I never knew how warm a hat could be until I got this one. It is so comforting to be safely "inside" it. Let the wind howl and the snow fall--no matter! I am happy that customer service recommended the leather one for better protection from the wind; it certainly does that. Not only can the large ear flaps but clipped up when conditions are warmer, but the furry area over the forehead can be unsnapped and pulled down providing a sort of visor to protect from driving snow/wind (looks cute this way). So lots of options. I enjoy seeing tv weather reporters out in the cold wearing similar hats--and no wonder! Leather is very soft, and the rabbit fur is luxuriously soft and does not shed. Does run a tinge small. I measured for a medium and got a medium; nicely snug, but maybe a large would have been a bit better (but perhaps not as warm that way?). Great price too. I just adore this hat. Well worth the money.
