I ordered this hat for my husband. He absolutely loves it. Very comfy and warm. I have one that is less expensive. Huge difference between the two. Thanks for good quality items.
I was a bit skeptical about the way this hat would look wearing it; but as the temperature goes down I could care less of it's looks. This hat is really, really warm. It fits true to size. I'm very satisfied with it.
I like the quality. The color on the web site is no accurate. I thought it would be a dark brown like shown on the web site, but it was more of a melon color. My husband was disappointed in the color.

My son loves this hat, but I am very disappointed in the "hickory"color. I missed ordering this hat in black by ordering too late in the year. The brown colors are not at all like the colors shown online. I have ordered the hat twice thinking there was a mistake and they sent the wrong hat, but the colors are off. Online the hickory color looks like dark brown to me, but is really more of a melon shade. I have ordered it twice and both times the color was wrong. We were able to buy this hat in gray wool last year at one of the outlet stores and my son loves it. I wanted to surprise him with the leather one this year. Next year I will shop early and get it in black.
It would be nice too if LL Bean would add more colors in wool.
