This is one of the best hats that our store sells. My grandfather had one a few decades ago and it kept him warm and toasty while he worked in the forests of Maine. Now my son has picked up that trade and I want him to stay warm. Thanks for having this product.
This was going to be a Christmas gift for my husband. I ordered the hat in Hickory, which is supposed to be the nice brown color I saw on line and in the store. What I received was an ugly red hat that my husband will hate so it won't even be going under the tree. Unfortunately LL Bean is sold out of the black hats, so I had to find the hat via another source on line. Pictures should match the product, or at least just be slightly off...not a completely different color!
I ordered a size XXL. That hat tag was marked XXL but the tag inside the hat was marked XL. It actually did not fit me ( 7 5/8 ) but instead fit my wife who wears a size Medium hat. Other the that the hat was nicely made but sized completely wrong. I was very disappointed.
