My husband is the hardest guy on the planet to shop for. He does alot of weekend warrior stuff all winter and when I got this hat for him at his birthday, you'd think I'd given him the Taj Mahal! He says that it is the most comfortable hat ever and very warm. He is actually looking forward to shoveling the snow this winter!
I was disappointed when the Mad Bomber Hat arrived. The fabric lining remained exposed when I tried it on. I tried to get it to stow inside the hat but that didn't work so I returned the hat. I was very disappointed in the quality of construction. Not what I expected from L.L.Bean.

Very warm well made hat. Tends to be a bit big but gets lots of compliments. It should be noted that the ear flap openings are not functional which would have been nice if you were getting overly warm!
