The fur on the forehead of the cap was flawed:you could the see lining under the fur. Moreover, the flaps of the hat did not come together at the base of then neck leaving a large gap,exposing the neck to the elements.
While it has not been cold enough to wear this outside yet this year, i did try it on inside and my ears were toasty warm in only a few seconds. It fits just right and is very well made.
this is a great looking and well constructed hat I just wish it was made in America I just got it so I can't wait for cold weather the only thing that bothers me is it looks as though it has side flaps where it goes over the ears they are just for show WHY?????
I walk from one to two hours each day including during the winter. I had tried several options unsuccessfully to keep my head and ears warm. This worked perfectly!
