ProsDurable, Great Value, Comfortable, wonderfuly soft & warm
This is the 3rd hat our family has bought, this one is for me! The sizes may vary a little. My husband bought a small and a med for me, and we kept the small for my young son. They are so soft & warm especially when the winter winds are whipping the snow in your face while trying to clean off the car or the clear the driveway. Awesome hat!
I have worn cloth covered Mad Bomber hats and found them extremely warm and comfortable. I bought this one because it is leather, has real rabbit fur, and was on sale. As a sale item it is a great value. Nice quilted lining. I am 7 3/8 hat size and XL fits well. Ear flaps are for appearances only - they don't actually unclasp.
He loves it, says it is very warm and walks around with it on all the time. It is long enough in the back on the neck that when he wears a turtleneck or scarf he is very warm. The straps are another thing...they are flimsey, if he really tried to buckle it the correct way he could, but would surely snap in no-time.
I bought the mad bomber on a lark as I thought it was a fun looking hat. I was very pleased at the warmth and protection it provided the first time I wore it snowblowing in Upstate NY. I would caution on size as I bought the XL and it is snug on me whereas others are not. Overall I think it is a great hat.
