Bought this bag for a trip, and it served me extremely well. It is lightweight and the long strap leaves your hands free. Once we got back home, I decided to use it as a diaper bag. It works great for this! It holds everything I need when I take my son out.
This bag is great. Got it for my son and he loves it. Good sturdy bag. Only one fault. When I had it monagramed the suggested color was white. Most of the bag is white so the monagram doesn't show very well. I will be more carefull next time.
First, we got the large one for my middle scholar - it looks really big on her, even she is a tall girl 5'3"-5'4". We ordered medium on sale - it looks much better, like it was designed for her, but, its not enough room for all her staff - books, PE uniform, lunch bag. We'll keep both of them because the bags are extremely comfortable -lightweight, the padded shoulder stripe, logically placed compartments. The only wish is reinforce the bottom of bag, make it stiffer, then bag will hold the shape better full or empty.
This is a great, versatile bag. I pack things to do, lunch, and a sweater in it for my husband's work. It holds so much, I tend too pack it a little too heavy. I took it as a carry on bag at the airport also. It fits under the seats just barely when fully packed. The pocket on the side was perfect for my camera and ipod. The pocket on the strap was handy for my I.D. and boarding passes. All the other pockets were handy for various items. I could carry it on my shoulder while leaving my hands free. I highly recommend it.
