I am a petite size person, I was going to get the large messenger bag but I am glad I did not because the medium size pretty big for me already. I like padded strap plus all pockets. now there is pocket on the strap I have no idea for. I am using the bag as a purse.
Purchased the large bag for my thirteen year old daughter to help ease her back from the overflowing bookbag. Caution.... It is way too large! The actual size appears to be larger than the measurements. Returned the bag for a refund and ordered a medium. Waiting for it to arrive anytime now!!!!
I ordered this bag because my LL Bean shoulder bag was a little big for my everyday needs (and hurting my shoulder) and my LL Bean backpack was a little tired after 10 years. I love it! I do wish it was a TINY bit bigger (I have the medium) but then I probably do need to take a little less with me every day. :) It holds my lunch, dress shoes and book for my daily train commute. Also fine as a day bag on weekend trips. The shoulder strap is wonderfully comfortable. A great buy!
This bag, though cute and roomy is not padded enough for me to put my laptop in. I was looking for a bag that would protect my computer without having to use a neoprene sleeve and still have room for other things.
