Bought the med for my 8 year old son who has been wanting a x-over bag for school forever. Hopefully it will be a good size for school, tho he used it for camp and I can't believe it's a bit small with everything in it.
BUT the strap is way too long. We'll have to fold it over and sew it somewhere, too bad it didn't go a foot or so shorter. He loves the bag tho. Also all the outside pockets seem a little small. Would rather have a few less and bigger. He needs a place for his DSi with thick cover on it.
All in all the bag seems good. I bought one for myself. Seems like a perfect all round run around bag with a little room for something extra...
Needing a carry-on bag for my upcoming trip to Europe, I bought this bag in both medium and large. The large was too big and bulky for me (I am only 5'2") and was returned. But the medium proved to be just right. I filled it with some overnight items and change of clothes (in case my luggage doesn't arrive with me), my camera, umbrella and my normal purse contents. I am looking forward to many trips with this bag.
I have another similar bag from L.L. Bean and wondered if this might suit me better. But the two are different and after thinking about it for a long time, I decided to keep them both because they have different features. This bag is well made, has lots of good features (several pockets of different sizes), and a great place to keep papers on the back on the outside, for easy access for air travel. It will hold everything I need as a carryon and still be easy to carry over a shoulder, leaving both hands free.
I bought this bag to carry my 12x12" scrapbooking paper and albums. It is great. There is more room than I need for the paper and extra compartments for some of the odds and ends I also need. The zippered top and nylon construction protect the paper in case of rain. I find the padded shoulder strap very comfortable and easy to adjust. Take notice scrappers--this is a great bag to take your paper to crops!
