I ordered these for my husband (& he only has a size 9 foot) & I ended up giving them to my 10 yr old grandson.... way to small for any man I know!! Order way BIGGER!!!!
ProsDurable, Great Value, Comfortable, Performing as Expected
I am normally a 'no-socks' person, but bought a pair of these at a local LLBean outlet just to round out an order for a discount coupon. I've since bought 3 more pairs. They actually conform to and firmly _support_ the foot without feeling oppressive in any way. I particularly like the feeling of gentle pressure under my arch. And the lack of wool is an added plus. On sizing, I normally take a 9-91/2 shoe which would put me in the Large size for these socks. However, I have bought both mediums and large, and actually prefer the tighter feel of the mediums. So I don't think they run small at all, but instead rather large. I would say if you want a snug feeling sock, don't hesitate to slightly undersize your choice. If you don't care for a snug feel, go with the LLB size chart. On washing, they do come out of the machine looking awful - but on the foot they look fine - after many many washings.
